zoo

I'm guessing by the end of the year you all may be tired of all the zoo posts. Its the end of march and our pass is up in Dec. there are a lot more zoo trips to come!!!!

This time I was baby-sitting our friends kids, and I wanted to do something fun so I took the kids to the Zoo. Erin and Kate came with us. It was nice to have an another adult besides me with all the crazy kids.

I didn't want to take all the kids into the goat pen, because I didn't want to have to worry about all the hand washing. Well as soon as we got to the fence the goat came and stuck his head out. The kids loved it!! They thought it was so funny.

This will be the last time we see the Kola Bears, because they go back home(not sure where) where its not hot!!!

I'm glad they were awake so we could say goodbye. Maddock will be so sad next time when we go back and they are not there. They are his favorite animal!!!

I forgot to puts this on earlier. Its Maddock hitting the ball. If you can't hear it he hit a line drive that hit Jaron, and then Maddock says sorry right away and then starts laughing. It's hard to see too, it was videoed on Jaron's phone. I'm just sad I didn't get Jaron in the video too!

Yes, I made Jaylee another skirt. Probably because its the easiest thing to make, no sleeves. This one took me a little longer then the others, but its my favorite!

I think I need to come up with some more crafts that are not skirts.

Nice Night

This is just one of my favorite reasons why I love good weather. I get a night off and Jaron is in charge of dinner. The kids love it when daddy cooks humbuggers, its the only time Maddock will eat a whole hamburger.

Baseball

Friday evening when Daddy came home from work we all went outside to play. The weather was so nice!!!! I wish it would stay that nice for a long time. I'm not ready for the heat. Anyways... Jaron taught Jaylee how to use the tee. As you can see no matter how many times we helped her when she did it by herself she would use one arm, like Bambam. Yes, she is not wearing matching shoes. she insists that she have one of each pair. I think she likes both pairs and can't decide which one to wear so she chooses one of each.

Maddock is our superstar!!! He hit the ball over the wall several times, making Daddy have to climb the wall over and over again. Every time he would swing the bat his mouth hangs open with his tongue sticking out. I'm so amazed at how well he does at sports. I can't wait for little leagues.

After every time he would hit the ball he would turn to me and say cheese and wait for me to take his picture. He is so funny, so much like his dad.

a new dress

I made this today out of one of my old tank tops. It makes for a nice nightgown or play dress for Jaylee.

She loves it. As soon as she put it on she started dancing around! The only way I got her to hold still is to let her hold the umbrella.

ZOO

Last Saturday we went to the zoo again. This time we went with Grandma and Grandpa Watson, Lacie, Sherice, Scott, and baby EmmaLyn. It was so crowded, I have never been there when it was that bad. We couldn't even park in the parking lot. Not only was there lots of people but it was hot!!! But that didn't stop us from having fun. The kids loved it, they always love the zoo and spending time with their grandparents.

Since we have a year pass we didn't have to wait in line for tickets like the others. So we spent the time taking some pics while waiting,

Tractor Time!

Maddock loves to "ride" the tractor every time we go by the zoo's farm. Jaylee usually wont get on the tractor, but since grandpa put her up there of course she stays and smiles.

This day was so much fun. The kids enjoyed the animals and spending time with their aunts, uncle and grandparents. The only thing that would have made the day better is if there would have been less people and not so hot. Some of us got sunburnt, mainly Jaylee and me!!

Over all so much fun.

A Day With Thomas

Today we went to Globe!!! (yeah) We went to ride Thomas the Train. There was alot of us who went to ride, there was Grandpa and Grandma Watson, Sherice and baby Emma, Dustin, Erin, and Kate, My brother Joey, my sister-n-law Kasie, Brock and Kade, and of course us. All the Watsons where late so they had to ride on the lower level. Brock and Maddock where so excited to sit by each other. Here they are waiting for the train to start.
