ZOO

I'm not sure what Grandpa and Maddock are talking about, but it looks like Maddock doesn't know either.

Grandma, Jaylee, and Lacie
I think Grandma is showing Jaylee some deer

Poor goat he's cornered by the Watsons
Don't worry he got away from us

This day was so much fun. The kids enjoyed the animals and spending time with their aunts, uncle and grandparents. The only thing that would have made the day better is if there would have been less people and not so hot. Some of us got sunburnt, mainly Jaylee and me!!
Over all so much fun.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Watson

There was alot of us who went to ride, there was Grandpa and Grandma Watson, Sherice and baby Emma, Dustin, Erin, and Kate, My brother Joey, my sister-n-law Kasie, Brock and Kade, and of course us. All the Watsons where late so they had to ride on the lower level. Brock and Maddock where so excited to sit by each other. Here they are waiting for the train to start.

Maddock loved to look at the beautiful scenery (ha ha ha).

Maddock gets race Percy around the tracks!!
We had so much fun!!! It was fun to see Maddock play with his cousin Brock. I wish they could see each other more. They sure have lots of fun together. When it was time to leave Maddock threw a temper tantrum. He asked if we could go home with Grandpa and Grandma, and when we said no he asked if Brock would come to our house. He was so sad that we sad no!! But we will see them all soon again when we go up the mountain for Brittany's wedding. All in all it was a fun day!!!

It has been awhile since I have made anything or have been crafty and its driving me crazy. Last night I made this skirt with a few scraps I had in about an hour without a pattern. I wouldn't say it would win a sewing contest and my mom might laugh if she looks close, but Jaylee loves wearing it. And it was fun being creative again.

On President's Day I spent the WHOLE day taking pics of my little sis, Brittany and her fiance, Cord for their announcements. I had so much fun! I'm so excited for the wedding in April.

Zoo

In the last month we have gone to the zoo twice, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Watson for giving us a year pass to the zoo and a wagon to carry our crazy kids around.
Maddock and Jaylee love it when we go. If you ask Maddock what his favorite animal is he will tell you its the "koala" and then he'll tell you you have to be quiet. Jaylee loves the farm part of the zoo where she gets to pet and chase the goats. Maddock was having fun posing for me on all the fake animals. So did Jaron, doesn't he make a nice turtle. Jaylee would hold still for a few pics but she was too busy trying to find all the animals.
As we were looking at the mountain lion he came right up the the fence just 2 feet away from us. Since I'm terrified of these animals my heart starts racing and it took everything I had not to run. But not Jaylee she stood there next to the fence just watching the lion. My kids are so much braver then me!!
All in all we had such a good time and I got the best work out ever pushing the wagon all over the zoo!

They spent 15 min. just watching the prairie dogs digging holes

I love the Komodo Dragon! Maddock is telling us to be quiet, the dragon is sleeping.

Every time there was telescope Maddock had to look through it.

I found the pictures that I was talking about later in the blog, here is our awesome Christmas party experience!!!

Blessed
We are so blessed as a family and are grateful for all that we have this year! We are looking forward to Christmas with family this year, and are excited that our kids are getting big enough to understand a little bit about Christmas. We had a funny experience last Saturday! We got the kids all excited a bout the Ward Christmas Party and got them all ready and told them they were going to go see Santa and have some fun. They were so happy until we pulled up to the Church. They thought they had been scammed, and Maddock exclaimed, "This is not a party, this is church". He proceeded to throw a tantrum from there and we ended up having a horrible time trying to get the kids to behave and realize it was supposed to be fun. I was going to post the resulting picture with Santa, but it looks like Bethany deleted it. It consisted of me holding Maddock and him hiding himself with his hands and on my shoulder, and then Jaylee clinging for dear life on Bethany, and then Bethany and I smiling like everything was just great!
We have had a lot of fun going for rides in the car almost every night to look at Christmas lights! We are so excited for Christmas, and anyone that knows Maddock knows that there was no better place for us to take pictures than on the railroad tracks (the kid loves trains!). Below are some of the pictures we took!
